Recommended for use on:
Enhances contrast in daytime and twilight observations (Venus, Mercury) by suppressing the blue light. Reveals details on Mars (in larger aperture telescopes). TS Optics colour filters offer an improved contrast when viewing the moon and the planets. Each filter works out specific details by permitting only specific parts of the visual spectrum. As a resul the contrast of these details is boosted for better visibility.
Quality Features of the TS Optics Colour Filters:
- the filter housing is made of metal and as thin as possible to avoid vignetting.

- filter threads on both sides allow you to combine different filters. For example, a blue filter and a yellow filter combined resemble a green filter.

Each of the 3 different 2" colour filters has a different effect on the image. As a result different filters are used for viewing different details of a planet. By combining two filters you can get additional colour shades. For example, a blue filter and a yellow filter combined resemble a green filter with a different shade than the normal green filter.
