The 114/500 telescope has a large amount of light gathering power, but is still very easy to handle. The relatively long focal length (f /4.4) allows you to see a good amount of detail on the Moon, the planet Mars and on Jupiter and the Saturn's rings. But this reflector can also take you beyond the Solar system - to observe the brighter galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. The package contains everything you need to get started.
