The Armasight SIRIUS IDi is a high-performance monocular night vision device.
The multi-purpose system can be attached to the front of a camera lens for night photography, and for long distance observing it can be enhanced with optional lenses with 3, 5, and 8x magnification.
We aim to ensure the SIRIUS is suitable for all users. The device has an extended eye relief so it can be used with glasses. The SIRIUS model can be operated with either CR123 or AA batteries. Other benefits of the SIRIUS include a built-in IR illuminator, an automatic brightness control, a safety shut-off in bright light and a display showing battery status and the lifetime of the image intensifier tube.
The IDi devices are equipped with a second generation PG (premium grade) image intensifier tube. It has excellent resolution, no cosmetic defects, the perfect contrast, and excellent brightness. This is the best quality tube on the market. The image intensifier tube has an automatic brightness adjustment, an automatic bright light shut-off, an integrated IR illuminator with a spot/flood lens.
The image brightness is adjusted automatically depending on the ambient light situation. The device has a fibreglass reinforced housing. It is incredibly lightweight, impact-resistant and waterproof.

The scope of delivery often does not includes batteries or, if included, only low-quality batteries. These cannot be replaced under warranty. To avoid being disappointed the very first time you use the equipment, we recommend you order suitable batteries at the same time you order the equipment. Especially for equipment that is used outdoors, we recommend the use of high quality brand-name batteries. Lithium batteries are to be preferred, as these lose hardly any of their charge during prolonged storage and also do not lose performance in cold temperatures.
