Compact apochromat with high-speed focal ratio: An ideal travel telescope for observation and astrophotography.
This high-quality refracting telescope with an apochromatic doublet lens constructed from a FPL53 element and lanthanum glass is compact and powerful. Of course, the air-spaced lens is adjustable. Every lens features the manufacturer’s best possible multi-coating for maximum contrast.
The telescope is fitted with a focuser which can even support heavy accessories. Even with the apochromat’s excellent stable mechanics, it is a true lightweight and so compact that it can even fit into your hand luggage.
- Astrophotography: The apochromat has a large back focus of 135 mm from the focuser’s 2” socket. This enables optional field flatteners to be used without difficulty (look under “Recommended Accessories”). A corrector like this is always required for achieving sharp focus right to the edges.
- Visual observation: The apochromat’s generous working distance even makes it possible to use 2” eyepieces with full illumination. This opens up a enormous visual field to you. Twilight landscape and wildlife observations with maximum image brightness or observations of extended nebula areas with narrowband filters are also possible. The pure-colour 72mm lens allows magnifications up to 200-fold. Spot fine details on the surface of the Moon or observe the planets in our solar system. This apochromat’s contrast performance in this area will also surprise you.
This apochromatic refracting telescope is a universal telescope for all areas of observation and photography, and for astronomy, of course.
